I like travelling very much. I would often take trips to many places both in Japan and abroad when I was young.
I enjoyed seeing beautiful scenery, visiting famous sightseeing spots and having good local food.
But now, I'm not fully satisfied with these.(1)
Of course, famous places of scenic beauty and historical interest are worth visiting, but it is also interesting to visit an unnamed town where ordinary people live and to see what kind of people they are and how they live there.
Information you can get from a guide book is just ordinary.
If you have a word with a local person and get good advice as to nice dishes, and if possible, have a chance to taste them together, it will surely become an unforgettable memory.(2)
She isn't always kind.
Not all people have a dream.
I don't like fish very much.
(2) have a word (with 人) ちょっと話をする(意見を求めて)
Can I have a word with you now?
